WWIM11 {Worldwide InstaMeet 11}

This past weekend, Instagram held their eleventh Worldwide InstaMeet where Instagramers across the world met up and got to meet and network with each other. The one in Seattle was held at Discovery Park, so I was sold. And they were giving away free ice cream...free & ice cream are two of my favorite things.

It is cookie dough and NOT vanilla, thank you very much.

The turnout was insane, about 200 people attended and mingled.

And that made for a long trek down the beach...but somehow Alec and I ended up leading everyone down.

And everyone scattered to take some pictures.

It turned out to be a beautiful sunny Seattle day.

 

Someone brought along their Keep Exploring flag and passed it around.

And I learned that Instagramers will do anything for the shot.

This guy was crazy enough to climb this and get an aerial group picture.

It was a fun experience! There were lots of interesting people to meet who all share this love of Instagram and ultimately photography. I was pretty stoked to get ice cream and some shots with the Keep Exploring flag and to just be down at Discovery Park. My first Instameet was a success!
